The Florida Department of Education Commissioner’s Task Force on Holocaust Education and the Florida State University Holocaust Institute for Educators presents, “Hitler’s Ideology and the Holocaust” a Lecture by Professor Robert Gellately (FSU’s Earl Ray Beck Professor of History) on Monday, October 1st at 7pm in the FSU Alumni Association Center Ballroom (1030 W. Tennessee St).

Professor Gellately has written or edited ten books, and his works have appeared in more than twenty foreign languages. His most recent publication is an edited volume, The Oxford Illustrated History of the Third Reich. His 2001 book, “Backing Hitler: Consent and Coercion in Nazi Germany,” will be available for purchase and signing after the lecture.
