It’s the second day of move-in. If you missed us yesterday, com by today. Meet Michael and other early-arriving FSJews on Landis Green. Snacks, information and convo. We’ll have free mezzuzahs for your dorm and lots of information. Drop by when you can.
How do we connect? Engage in dialogue around big questions inherent in life. As we transition to a new school year, a new community, a new home; we hope to challenge, think and engage in how we connect as a community. This event is partially sponsored in part by Hillel as a member of the Interfaith Council at FSU. Have the kind of conversations you always thought you’d have at college. With free pizza provided by FSU Luau. Please plan to stay the full time.
Spend the day exploring campus on your own. The plan to join us on Landis. We’ll be having the first Shabbat of Fall at 7pm, on the Green to make it easy for you to find us. It will be a good time of singing and services. It’s will end about 8pm with pizza. Then, we’ll head to the Union for all the fun FSU arranged for Seminole Sensation Week.
Need we say more? at 11am at the corner of Woodward and St. Augustine streets is the place to be. Our famous lox and schmear, bagel and coffee, guys and gals and one yearly group photo that grows each year. You’ll want to be in it (we take it at noon!) So grab a friend and come join the great times we have at Hillel and meet your fellow FSJews. Don’t worry — you’ll have plenty of time to get to Convocation (and Bid Day) just a few blocks away. Welcome to Fall — Go Noles!
